Doing normal stuff.

17 Aug 2008 In: general, love

Yeah. So it’s Sunday evening again. The last Sunday evening of my hunnys’ vacation. He has been on vacation for 3 weeks now, and these 21 days just flew by like nothing. It’s already the 17th of august! =( I’m leaving for home on the 28th and we will probably not see each other again until 18th of october! That’s gonna be so hard! Can you imagine that? Anyone out there who’s in a long distance relationship too? Mh. It sucks. Yeah. We can’t wait to change this nerve-wracking situation we are in right now. We plan on moving together. We plan that since the day we met …! There was just not the right time yet. Things need to be settled bevor we can take this step. It’s complicated, you know ;-)

So, beside sitting here, praying that the last few days that are left won’t fly by like the past 1,5 months, there’s not much happening right now. Basicly we are pretty lazy lately. Lazy, but happy *lol* We just enjoy ourselfes at home doing normal stuff that normal couples do. It feels good to sit at home, play WoW toghether or just sit down on the sofa and watch a boring movie. You may laugh, but often it’s these normal things I miss.

Busy gardeners.

Well. We are back from our 2-day-trip. Actually we’re back since sunday. But I just didn’t find the time to write a little post. We were rather busy with working in our backyard. The gras was growing sooo high and there were also a lot of other plants growing, that weren’t supposed to grow there ;-) Yeah, that happens if you don’t care about your backyard for like 2 years. Dom bought a new motor-powered scythe and it took him 2 full afternoons to mow everything down. I raked everything together and loaded it onto our neighbor’s tumbril.

We also met a new little friend when mowing the backyard. A cute little, green caterpillar. ;-)

I posted another picture at my Flickr account, if you want to take a look. I think this little green thing was so cute. Somebody commented on the picture at Flickr and said, it looks like a caterpillar out of a children’s book. xD And it kinda does. His marking is really awesome I think. I didn’t dare to touch it, but I think its skin was really soft and velvety. Hehe. It’s awesome what nature is able to create!

Dom and I are leaving for a 2-day-trip to Austria tomorrow. We got invited to some kind of festival at the Mondsee (it’s a lake) by one of his co-workers. Since it’s a 4 or 5 hours to drive, we won’t be leaving too late. That means I need to pack our stuff and clean up the house today. I hate leaving a messy house and then come back into that mess again after 2-3 days.

I’m really looking forward to this trip. It’s probably the only time this summer we’re going to stay overnight somewhere. We didn’t book any other trip for this summer, because for lack of money. =(

I hope I can get some nice pictures! I feel like I neglected my EOS during the last few weeks. ;-)

So, have a nice weekend everybody! =)
